Offer 0% interest for 6
months
There
are a number of financing and leasing programs that can get your telephone to
ring. Some of these programs are good
, others could be scams. To be sure
that we offer only legitimate programs, it is vital that we provide all of
the details up front. One option is
that we offer a lease program with a $1 purchase at the end of the
lease. The customer pays no interest
on the lease payments for 6 months.
The interest for the first two payments is split between the ICMA
member and the leasing company. At the
end of the lease the customer buys the containers for $1. This leasing option will close sales for
ICMA members. This deal allows the
haulers the opportunity to get the containers that they need now, and pay for
them as the revenue comes in. The
ICMA member gets the money within 24 hours of delivery. We will be exploring these and other
options in the coming weeks. All
creative ideas are welcome. |
Welding Wire
|
ICMA 2 Yard Container in
production
|
The ICMA has reached an agreement with a
vendor to supply all ICMA members with Washington Alloy (70S-6) copper coated
welding wire. This welding wire is
layer level wound and it will not tangle.
Our prices are based on the quantity ordered and are guaranteed for
one full year. In most cases the
annual savings on welding wire will total more than the cost of the ICMA membership. Orders placed by 3:00 pm EST will be
shipped the same day. Delivery will be
no longer than 2 days to any ICMA member location. |
Workmen’s compensation
rates on the rise...
For the last 2-3 years a number of metal
fabricating firms have enjoyed discounts and dividends based on mod rates
that are determined by safety records.
The key to keeping WC rates down is to reduce work site accidents. The ICMA is working with a number of firms
to help reduce the risk of employee injuries.
A large part of prevention is through education. If you have not already sent
in your survey, please send it ASAP. |
