Advertising Pays Off

Our advertisement in the January issue of American Waste Digest has generated a number of inquiries for the 2 Yard Container. In the February issue of The Hauler we have a full page ad, and we were given 1/3 of a page of free editorial space. In the January issue of MSW Management we were given a five paragraphs as a sidebar to an article on Tarps & Rolloffs by Joseph Tilton. The publicity coupled with our advertising has helped put the ICMA in the map.

Commonwealth Container is big on basketball

Shannon Williams' son Bob is the starting forward on the Menifee County Middle School Wildcats (17W-3L). The Wildcats are on their way to the Kentucky State Championship tournament. Go Wildcats!
Welcome to Lewis Steel Works

Lewis Steel Works of Wrens, Georgia is our newest ICMA member. Brian Lewis and Vernon build a complete line of high quality front load, rear load and roll off containers, along with their latest addition - self dumping hoppers. Lewis Steel Works claim to fame is that they build containers to last!

Web site member driven

ICMAonline.com has a members only section complete with a message board so that you can keep up to date on ICMA activities and post equipment for sale. A recent addition is an instruction page for the message board. There is an unlimited amount of space for ICMA members to place photographs of containers for visitors to shop. We can also have visitors link directly to members' web sites. Use your page on the ICMA web site as your own web site without any cost. As always, suggestions are welcome.

ICMA meeting at Rudco - February 26 @1:00

It looks like our meeting at Rudco will be well attended. For those of you who are flying please let me know your itinerary so that we can arrange car pooling from the airport. There are two hotels that are near Rudco, they are: Holiday Inn Express Rate $50.00/night Phone 856-293-8888 Wingate Inn Rate $64.00/night Phone 856-690-9900 The hotels have provided these rates for ICMA members visiting Rudco. Please mention that you are with the ICMA when you make your reservation. Corey Bell of Independent Leasing will be at the meeting to make a presentation on leasing of containers. Corey will be a keynote speaker at the Wastec show in New Orleans. Independent Leasing has applied to be an ICMA Associate Member. There are a number of container leasing deals currently on the table. An ICMA member has suggested that we invite a couple of potential vendors to have short presentations at the end of the meeting. Please let me know your feelings about this. Another ICMA member from Wisconsin has asked if anyone would like to go bowling with him after the meeting. Do not worry; it is not a date, just good clean fun.
